House Rules

No smoking anywhere on the premises
We ask that you keep music to a comfortable level if outside
No parties or events
Please no street parking, drive way should accommodate all guest parking
Please lock the front door when leaving the house by holding finger on Yale symbol when door is closed
Please only flush toilet paper down the toilet
Check Out Instructions
Strip the beds and leave used towels and linens on the bedroom floors before leaving.
Please load and run the dishwasher prior to checking out.
Please be sure that all used kitchen utensils and dishware are clean prior to putting them back into cabinets and drawers. Anything that has staining or remains dirty place back in the dishwasher.
Please check that the grill cover is on and the Solo Stove (fire pit) cover is on.
If furniture was moved during your stay please help to move it back to where it was when you arrived.
Trash Removal
Trash bags and recycling may be placed in the bins down at the street if the trash bin inside fills up. Please make sure trash bin is always closed/locked to keep the local wildlife out. There is a silver trigger inside the lid of the trash can to unlock it. It automatically locks when the lid is closed. Sometimes it needs to be closed with force so the latch catches.
Smart TV
Available for you to use, you can sign in to any app that you like but please remember to sign out upon check out.
Temperature Control
Each room is equipped with Mitsubishi heating/cooling units. There is a remote control located in each room.
Town Meter Parking
Download the Flowbird app for easy parking within the town of Kingston. Its inexpensive and easy to use, parking is free on Sundays. If you prefer not to use the app dimes and quarters will work too.
Outdoor Grill
If using the grill, please be sure to use the grill brush to clean it as well as cover it after use. Please note, we always try to have 2 propane tanks on hand for guests next to the grill. If you find it is empty, you can exchange it at the Stewart’s on Lucas Avenue (5 minutes away) for $25. Please be sure to let us know so that we can reimburse you the cost.
Firewood
Firewood can be purchased at Stewarts, which is a few minutes down Lucas Avenue in the direction of Uptown Kingston.
Fireplace
The fireplace may be used when the outside temperature is below 60 degrees. The flue should remain open at all times please check that it is open before use.
